Hi, have just registered on CPC-live as well. Username is mcgcyp. I would also like to mention that I  am working hard to prepare a new english Amstrad / Schneider CPC web site, hopefully before the end of the year. I would appreciate your help in spreading the word about it once it is ready, if possible. By the way, many thanks for JavaCPC Desktop!  It is excellent.

Thanks! I would love to help updating the DVD with new games! As a matter of fact, I have merged all the collections I could find on the net to a new one - the reason I need the DVD is to see if I can find something I don't have. I am also working on a smooth scrollers games cd to release when the site goes live. BTW, couldn't find a vsync option in JAVA CPC - currently using Caprice called through the command line on a LCD monitor set to 50hz through Powerstrip - this gives perfect vsynced graphics emulation, however I have keyboard / joystick  input issues that I hope I will manage to resolve!

Perhaps I add VSync option in next release (It should be enabled by default?!?)

Yes, please do. However, It should not be enabled by default as most monitors now work by default at 60hz - I guess this would result into "jumpy"scrolling being rendered. An option to enable it at will would be good. Thanks!

A problem I noticed with JAVA CPC (it might be my machine having the problem, it could be JAVA CPC - I am not sure) is: When I exit full screen mode, emulation becomes very slow in Java Desktop - this doesn't happen if I run the emulator in full mode and switch from full screen to window and the opposite.

When emulation slows down / gets laggy:
Click the "reSync" button please...
(Or do a hard reset, ctrl + shift + f9)
